Waterproofing & Roofing
Roof detail sealants, liquid waterproofing membrane binders, and below-grade joint sealants for building envelope protection.
Request Samples & TDSWaterproofing failures are among the most costly and disruptive building defects, and the weak points are predictable: penetrations, terminations, movement joints, and transitions between membrane systems and rigid substrates. Conventional hot-applied bituminous systems, cementitious coatings, and polyurethane liquid membranes each carry process limitations — fire risk, substrate moisture sensitivity, isocyanate exposure, or VOC emissions — that silyl-modified polymer alternatives can address.
MS polymer sealants and liquid membrane binders provide crack-bridging flexibility, seamless application, zero-VOC chemistry, and primerless adhesion to concrete, metal, and existing membrane surfaces. The technology has been validated as a waterproofing membrane binder by resin producers and is commercially deployed in balcony, terrace, and wet-room applications. For detail sealing — the penetrations, upstands, and terminations that are the source of most waterproofing failures — MS polymer sealants offer compatibility with bituminous, single-ply, and liquid-applied membrane systems without the solvent attack or adhesion failures that occur with mismatched sealant chemistry.
Silantek’s waterproofing product range includes roof penetration and flashing sealants, STP-based liquid waterproofing membrane binders for balconies and terraces, and below-grade joint sealants for foundation and basement applications with hydrostatic pressure resistance and damp-substrate adhesion capability.
Applications
Roof Detail Sealing
Penetration sealing around pipes, vents, and HVAC curbs. Flashing termination and parapet joint sealing. Compatible with bituminous, TPO, EPDM, and PVC membranes.
Liquid Waterproofing Membranes
STP-based liquid waterproofing for balconies, terraces, wet rooms, and podium decks. Crack-bridging, seamless, UV-stable application.
Below-Grade Waterproofing
Foundation wall joints, basement slab construction joints, and pile cap seals. Hydrostatic pressure resistance with damp-surface adhesion.
