MS-2000 High Tack Construction Adhesive
Premium silyl-modified polymer construction adhesive for multi-substrate bonding. Instant grab, non-sag, isocyanate-free, and paintable. A professional-grade alternative to solvent-based liquid nail cartridges.
Request TDS & SamplesOverview
MS-2000 is a one-component, moisture-cure construction adhesive engineered for bonding applications where conventional solvent-based mastics, polyurethane cartridges, and acrylic latex liquid nail products each fall short. The formulation is built on a silyl-terminated polyether backbone that cures through a neutral silanol condensation mechanism, producing a cured rubber with high elastic recovery, strong shear capacity, and durable adhesion across a wide range of construction substrates without primer.
The product is specified for applications requiring paintability through architectural coating systems, zero isocyanate content for REACH or workplace safety compliance, non-flammable handling and shipping, damp-substrate adhesion, or consistent bond strength on smooth, low-surface-energy substrates such as stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and painted MDF. The non-sag rheology holds extruded beads on vertical and overhead applications, while high green strength supports production workflows that cannot tolerate extended clamping.
Why MS Polymer over Liquid Nail
Solvent-based SBS mastics carry high VOC emissions, flammability during storage, poor adhesion to smooth substrates, and incompatibility with water-based coatings. Polyurethane cartridges offer stronger bonds but introduce isocyanate exposure and CO₂ bubble formation on damp substrates.
MS-2000 contains no solvents, no isocyanates, no silicone, and no phthalate plasticizers. It bonds reliably to damp concrete without foaming, accepts all common architectural coatings without fish-eye defects, ships as non-hazmat, and delivers bond strength on smooth metal and glass substrates where conventional liquid nail products fail.

Application Engineering
Surface Preparation
Substrates should be clean, sound, and free of grease, dust, and contaminants. Wipe stainless steel, aluminum, and glass with isopropyl alcohol. Lightly abrade galvanized surfaces for demanding applications. Tolerates damp substrates but not standing water.
Application
Apply using a standard manual or pneumatic cartridge gun. Beads from 6 mm to 15 mm are typical. For panel bonding, apply in a serpentine or spot pattern providing minimum 30% contact area, then press firmly. Position within the 20-minute open time at 23°C.
Cure Schedule
Skin time: 20–25 minutes. Tack-free: 45–60 minutes. Initial handling fixture: 2–4 hours. Full cure: approximately 3 mm per 24 hours. Complete cure of typical beads within 48–72 hours. Lower temperatures and humidity extend cure time.
Paintability
Fully cured MS-2000 accepts all common architectural coating systems including water-based acrylic, alkyd, latex, and two-component polyurethane topcoats. No primer required. Allow 24-hour cure before painting. Silicone-free formulation eliminates fish-eye defects.
